The Community Foundation of the Quincy recently awarded more than $56,000 to 42 nonprofit organizations in the counties it works in Illinois, Missouri and Iowa.
The grants range between $100 to $5,000 and checks were presented during a presentation at the Community Christ Assistance Center. The Community Foundation is is an endowment builder, donor adviser, community connector and grant maker and works with donors to build funds that support local causes.
